Summary:
"DigiHero" is a Germany-wide study that conducts digital health research with a focus on health in general, the development of chronic diseases, health care, and healthy aging. The study was initiated in early 2021 by nine different institutes and clinics of the University Medicine Halle (Saale) in Saxony-Anhalt.
All persons over 18 years of age who live in Germany, speak German, have access to the Internet and have their own email address are invited to participate in the DigiHero study. Interested parties can register via the study website and then occasionally receive invitations to current surveys and projects. Participation is always voluntary. All surveys take place online and can be answered easily using tablets, computers or smartphones. In addition to surveys, the study also plans to use new digital technologies, such as watches on the wrist that measure heart rate and movement.
More information can be found on the study website.
